DUO - creative concept of hoarding art

For our DUO project, artist Alexander Dashevsky created a work of art that adorned the facade of the historic part of the building during the construction phase.

The work titled "Arches of Time" is an original reinterpretation of the history of the "Kokorev Courtyard." It combines elements of architectural styles associated with the historic building of Kokorev Courtyard: post-constructivism, Soviet modernism, Stalinist architecture, icon painting, and Palladian style merge together in the appearance of a single building. The color scheme of the painting, in turn, refers to the signature colors of the club house. "In the space of the work, the viewer chooses whose contemporary to be, whom to look up to, and with whose deeds to relate their own," explains the author. "Arches of Time" will be displayed on the construction mesh during the restoration work, which is scheduled to be completed in the second half of 2025.

The agency developed a creative design concept and artistic approach for the creation of the construction mesh for the DUO club house, in collaboration with HUTTON and V2Group, along with artist and art historian Alexander Dashevsky.
